Most of you know (though I may not have mentioned it much in these blogs) that I'm a leader in my church Youth Group.

In a typical Friday night, we first spend time socializing, then proceed upstairs to the Youth Room. Its a room painted by the teens...very colorful...I helped. We sing a few songs before the Youth Pastor, Terence, opens the word and preaches something that usually convicts me (lately we've been going through Jonah and also talking a lot about giving grace to others). And after all that, we break into our smaller groups and have discussions. I was blessed with the 11-12 grade girls group.

These are the teens that will be out of Youth Group soon and they will make their own choices when that happens. Things like reading their bible, going to church, witnessing, and discipleship could soon be the furthest thing from their minds when the problems of the world start really hit them. Please pray that their faith is truly their own walk of faith so that they will seek God when they are on their own.

We've talked about everything under the sun and still seem to hit a wall of being real with each other. The Lord has been so challenging me with being real and open with others lately. I haven't been the best testimony of this to them but I now that I see this within myself, I hope to be that example that they need. Please pray for us.
