I've been challenged by two kinds of faith: faith in God and faith in myself.
Faith in God is real faith. Its where you'll go anywhere, do anything because He wants it. And you know its His will so for that reason, you do it. That's this kind of faith. It is what helps the Christian to grow.
But there is another faith that is foolish faith, a faith in our own abilities and talents. We think that because we've been doing it so well for so long that we no longer think that its necessary to call out to God for help. A.K.A. we don't pray as we used to pray for the help to do it, we just do it now. This is faith in ourselves.
The Lord is challenging me to do this in a little way. After all, Jesus did say those who are faithful with little will be put in charge of many things.
When I can clearly see how this application works out in my life, you who read this will be the first to know what personal convictions and lessons I learned from my own walk.
