Something I found based on James 1:2-5, Phil 2:14, etc.

Do not give up on God when you are within a trial by complaining against it, even within your heart. But if you look to the promises of God that you will be better due to the trial, then you will have joy.

Know that you are in the trial because you lack in some area that you probably don't see yet. You've even prayed for the result of the trial, though not for this trial specifically. The result will come only after it is over because only in this trial could God teach you what you need to hear and how you will be able to change.

Trials come before frustration. You will have frustrations but do not give in to them but preserver through it until you are broken because of it! Because only in brokenness are you ready and able to clearly hear the voice of God.

No one likes the process of brokenness but all will agree that the results are well worth it.
